Major Dhyan Chand was a legendary Indian hockey player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. Dhyan Chand joined the Indian Army in 1922 and started playing hockey for the army team. He soon proved himself to be a natural talent and was selected for the Indian hockey team in 1926.
